The U.S. Navy proudly announces Navy Week in Charlotte, North Carolina taking place May 4-10, 2026. As part of a nationwide outreach effort, Charlotte Navy Week will bring 50-75 Sailors to engage directly with the community through a week-long series of performances, educational events and service projects.

The Queen City will host Navy Week for the second time, returning as a host city after nearly 20 years. The 2026 event will showcase an extraordinary lineup of performances, demonstrations, and community engagements designed to inspire, educate, and strengthen the bond between the Navy and the people of Charlotte:

• Senior Navy Leaders: Meet and hear from senior Navy officials, including those with local ties to Charlotte.
• Namesake Sailors: Meet the men and women serving aboard Navy ships and submarines that carry names honoring North Carolina and its communities.
• U.S. Navy Fleet Forces Band: Enjoy live musical performances and masterclasses led by talented Navy musicians.
• Naval History and Heritage Command: Explore the rich connection between Charlotte and the Navy through interactive presentations and educational programs.
• U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard: Witness the precision and professionalism of one of the Navy’s most elite units, showcasing time-honored traditions that embody the pride and heritage of naval service.
• U.S. Navy Parachute Team (LEAP Frogs): Witness demonstrations by the Navy’s premier parachute team, showcasing the athleticism, teamwork and precision required of today’s Naval Special Warfare community.
• Plus, many more Sailors serving across the Fleet representing a wide range of naval capabilities.
