Austin

Navy Week in Austin is scheduled Oct. 1-10, 2021. The event will take place during Austin City Limits and other city-wide events with additional content online via Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, local media, and other social media platforms, in partnership with several organizations throughout the Austin area, to include Austin City Limits, Visit Austin, Austin FC, Cup of the Americas/Moto GP Red Bull Grand Prix, the Texas State Capitol, Boys & Girls Club of Austin, Mobile Loaves and Fishes and other civic groups and local and state government entities. Here is a tentative schedule and sampling of some potential featured events.

   Friday, Oct. 1:

  • 12-12:10 PM - U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard Drill Team Performance at the Capitol
  • 12:15-12:30 PM – Austin Navy Week Sailors Meet and Greet with Laura Koerner, Chair of Texas Veterans Commission at Capitol
  • 2-5 PM - Navy Band: Popular Music Group at Republic Park Square
  • 2-3 PM - Navy Brass Band, USS Constitution, Naval History and Heritage Command, Ceremonial Guard drill team and Navy Oceanographers Presentations and Demos at Kocurek Elementary



    Saturday, Oct. 2:

  • 1-2 PM - Navy Brass Band and U.S. Navy Ceremonial Guard at Austin City Limits Photo Stage
  • 1-3 PM - Navy Singer National Anthem, UT NROTC Color Guard during Navy Flyover at Austin FC vs Real Salt La
